101-103 Charoen Krung Road 44 North Sathorn, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand
(SAPHAN THAKSIN BTS)
Location: Located in a back alley in the Saphan Thaksin Area. My suggestion is that you walk from the BTS or the nearby Robinson if you are coming by car. On our walk there we passed through a couple of local markets and came across a repurposed old town house. The structure itself is for the most part unchanged with old painted walls with pockets of exposed brick, a wooden staircase and wooden shutters giving the cafe a lot of character and an old-town thai vibe. Both locals and tourists flock to this cafe (with a sister restaurant in Singapore) to try out their innovative dishes.
Best for: if you are up for some interesting combinations and a menu inspired by traditional thai dishes such as Tom Yum Benedict, this is the place to go! They have their own in house roaster as well so you can grab a great steamy flat white for that perfect instagrammable shot.
Food Highlights: 1) Tom Yum Benedict 2) Pure Matcha Brownie 3) CB&J (Roasted Grapes and Cashew Butter on sourdough Toast)
